In the face of dependency of global supply chain in energy sector,
the US Govt as well as many other countries have made it a national priority to develop local control of energy sector supply chain.
The recent technological advances have also created unique demands in the way energy is used in various sectors, such as a world-wide
move towards electric vehicles, wearables and smartphones have created demands for better ways to store and provide sustainable energy for
machines used by people on the go.
In the process, critical resources such as rare earth metals, lithium etc., are being hoarded by many countries creating artificial dependencies,
and these dependencies have been used as a cover. Thus, many counties are keen to incentivize and attract investment for setting up of local energy generation and distribution and overcome such artificial dependencies and market manipulation.
Our objective is to leverage our years of domain experience in the technology development and financial connections in the investment
community to identify niche but critical facets of this supply chain, and work with partners in these countries to create supply chain resilience.
We are partnering with many groups who share similar passion, commitment and
sentiments to work together towards this common goal.
It is a grassroots effort to build ventures in multiple verticals relating to the energy ecosystem.

Dr. Mohan Venkataramana
PresidentDr. Mohan Venkataramana is an entrepreneur and founder/president of Syntonix Inc., a technology research and development and business strategy solutions company specializing in translating bench scale concepts to marketable products. He has extensive experience building solutions and companies for niche areas in multiple verticals that include Life Sciences and Healthcare, Clean Energy, Retail Services, Telecommunications, Software and Enterprise solutions, AI/ML/Big data, Cloud Computing and Mobile Solutions. His focus is on identifying current and future trends in emerging areas of technology, and creating new technologies to help bridge the gap to the future. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai with a B.Tech degree and received his Ph.D from MIT in Chemical Engineering. He also has a M.S degree in Energy Engineering from University of Illinois. His diverse work experience includes positions at AT&T Bell Labs, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Microsoft and Amazon. He has also collaborated with and supported many entrepreneurs and start-up ventures.
Mr. Stephen Pries
CEOSteve has a 35+ year career in both the semiconductor and defense sectors. His semiconductor work has focused on product requirements, design implementation, product release and applications including customer support. Steve has worked as a hands-on individual contributor, team lead and director of engineering. A key focus has been continuous improvements to the design process including metrics for technical, schedule and financial. His responsibilities also included staffing, mentoring and university partnerships. Steve has contributed at the individual and board level to community humanitarian programs wherever he and his family have lived. His career includes fab specifications for CMOS and BiCMOS semiconductors. Products included x86, and RISC Systems-on-a Chip for personal computers, servers, networking, factory automation and communications. During Steve’s career he has contributed or led design teams in the USA, Japan, Taiwan and SE Asia. This work was done at Texas Instruments, National Semiconductor, Cyrix, Teradyne and several consulting firms. He received his AAS in Electronics Technology from Iowa State University. Steve’s BS in Electrical Engineering is from the University of Texas-Arlington. His MBA is from LeTourneau University at Longview, TX. He has certifications in Systems Engineering from the DoD Defense University.
Mr. Steven Yu
General Manager, Experteze Semiconductors (Taiwan)Steven received his Mechanical and Economics degree with Master degree from Wu Feng University and Fo Guang University. He has over 10 years experience as a stock trader and financial analyst in Taiwanese Stock Exchange Market, familiar with multiple industries. He has P.M.P., 6 Sigma Black Belt and 6 Sigma black Belt Lean. The mechanical industry works in 11 countries: China, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Thailand, Indonisia, Poland, Germany, Italy, Russia, Qatar. For project output, machine and equipment installation, create the production plan, process improvement, quality plan output and refine, production data analysis. He has experience in corporate and offer solutions with Japanese companies such as Sojitz Corporation, Sumitomo Corporation, Daido Kogyo Kaisha ,Ltd, Nakagawa Special Steel Inc, Ohshima Co.,Ltd, Unical Co.,Ltd, Neturen Co., Ltd.
Mr. Arvind Sinha
Vice President, Finance & InvestmentsArvind Sinha is a dynamic and growth focused professional with 15+ years of global experience in directing the development and integration of Trading and Wealth Management systems within diversified industries, including Maritime, Robotics, Finance, Logistics, and Energy based on market trends and pertinent technology. Demonstrated success in managing full product life cycle, from ideation and development to launch and deployment. Highly organized in leading teams on programs, aligning people, processes, and technology, and delivering business results within strict financial limitations. Adept at securing M&A exits for consulting clients, such as Verisign, Tibco, VMWare, Reuters, IBM, Google, and Thales. Well-developed expertise in leading digital product and business transformations, conducting detailed market insight, and building relationships across all business sectors to drive productive change. Well-versed in product launch and branding, enterprise customer engagement, sales and profit optimization, and resource planning. As Managing Director, Head of APAC – Core Systems Operations, Blackrock, Singapore, he managed the big data platform for Scientific Active Equity (SAE), while ensuring smooth functioning of operations. As Chief Operating Officer of Neeve Research & Consulting, he oversaw 12 direct reports and identify new opportunities to enhance organizational profitability. As Vice President, Corporate Development and CIO at GridPoint, he helped them to acquire Standard Renewable Energy. He helped to develop Smart Grid Infrastructure and Energy Management services, including administering mobile sales applications within real-time inventory, delivering custom hardware for active energy management operations 7x24, and integrating SRE’s products to GEM (GridPoint Energy Manager). Arvind has a Master of Science in Engineering from Odessa State Maritime Academy, Odessa, and Monthly Merchant Marine Certificate of Competency (Deck Officer Class I). He received his Master of Business Administration from University of Hawaii. He recently completed his Executive Blockchain Intensive from Draper University.
Mr. V. Jawahar
Vice President, FinanceV. Jawahar received his graduate and post-graduate degrees in Economics from university of Madras in 1969. He has several years of work experience with Canara Bank, the second largest Indian govt owned nationalized bank in the country. At Canara Bank, he served as officer in various segments of banking operations, including foreign exchange, auditing and inspection, as well as in credit processing and monitoring departments. After his 33 years of service at the bank, he retired and is currently providing financial consultancy to various private clients, on issues connecting with various banks like project appraisal etc. At Experteze Semiconductors, Jawahar is providing critical services such as financial management, investment planning and related services.
Mr. Francis Yee
Vice President, StrategyMr. Francis Yee received his BSEE degree from Northeastern University. An accomplished experimentalist, he has worked in several companies including Teradyne, Lockheed Martin, Northup Grumman, NASA, Raytheon, and is an Experienced engineer Natural Disaster Mitigation Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the Defense & Space industry. Skilled in Electronics, Radio Frequency (RF), Fire Suppression Systems, Systems Engineering, and Embedded Systems. Strong community and social services professional. Francis worked on the NASA Goddard Hubble Space Telescope Servicing Mission 4, last time humans will visit Hubble Space Telescope, designed embedded Radiation Hardened Field Programmable Gate Array circuits to go into the flight control docking mechanism. He automated the docking procedure so that it required minimal crew intervention. He contributed to the SBIR application to create a Trusted Foundry Program. Francis’s professional experience includes: Experience with analog to digital converters and digital to analog converters, Experience with digital signal processing within an FPGA. and Schematic entry with tools, Effective technical project leadership. Familiarity with microelectronics assembly techniques, Familiarity with common data analysis tools such as Excel, MatLab, Simulink, and SPICE., Experience with programming languages (e.g. C++, PyThon, TCL, Experience documenting complex engineering designs, as well as engineering experience within the Aerospace, Aeronautics, Defense, Space, and Electronics Sectors.
Dr. Hsuanyeh Chang Esq.
Legal CounselHsuanyeh Chang is a practicing attorney and a physicist. He has extensive experiences with both general practice and boutique law firms, as well as both international and startup companies. He received his JD from Suffolk University Law School of Boston, Massachusetts, and his PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from the City University of New York. He studied Nuclear Physics and received MS and BS from Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan. He also studied English and German at Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages in Taiwan. Hsuanyeh has drafted and prosecuted patent applications in the U.S., China, and Taiwan, and has represented parties in post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for patents in concurrent district court litigations, resulting in favorable settlements for the client. He believes that the key to competent representation in patent matters is the ability to quickly and fully understand the technology involved in each case. Because of his broad knowledge base in the physical sciences, He has successfully procured patents for inventions in a wide variety of technologies, including computer software and hardware, semiconductor, electronics, mechanics, optics, medical devices, nanotechnology, bioassay, liquid crystal displays (LCD), organic light emitting diodes (OLED), wired and wireless telecommunication, electronic circuits, and digital/analog signal processing. He also has experience formulating in-house patent strategies, managing patent portfolio, licensing intellectual property, designing around competitor’s patents, and training R&D engineers on patent law basics. He was included in Lawyers of Color’s 2014 Hot List and selected as a 2014-2015 Global Fellow of the Federal Circuit Bar Association.
